Purpose: To address issues dealing with the impact of intergenerational literacy on society.
Budget Committee
Purpose: To review, audit and submit reports to CARAs Board of Directors and membership.
Honor Council Committee
Purpose: To prepare documents for IRA and IRC Honor Council.
Hospitality Committee
Purpose: To make arrangements for speakers and dignitaries for CARA events. To assign greeters and prepare sign in table for CARA events.
International Projects Committee
Purpose: To address issues dealing with illiteracy in third world countries.
Legislative Committee
Purpose: To update CARA board and membership on the lateste legislative events regarding education.
Membership Committee
Purpose: To promote membership at the local, state and national level.
Newsletter Committee
Purpose: To address CARA membership through publishing the CARA Newsletter.
Newspapers in Education Committee
Purpose: To encourage classroom activities started under the impetus of Newspaper in Education Week.
Parents & Reading Committee
Purpose: To recognize the outstanding service of parents.
Program Committee
Purpose: To plan and prepare the schedule and programs for all CARA events.
Publicity Committee
Purpose: To plan and communicate all CARA events.
Research & Evaluation Committee
Purpose: To gather information regarding the needs of our membership and the evaluation of CARA's events.
Technology Committee
Purpose: To use technology to update the CARA website and distribution of CARA information through email.
